Embossing

Embossing is the method for creating sculpted effects on paper and is achieved by pressing a sheet between a male and female die.

The finished result can stand alone as ‘blind embossing’ or when combined with other printing techniques can lift a flat pre-printed image from the page, giving the impression of a 3rd dimension. Raised or sunken effects, can be produced from these dies.

Unlike many printers our Embossing dies are engraved in-house by our team of specialists.
